Large version of the famous Celling lamp designed by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen ( 1902-1971 ) in 1957. It was originally designed to decorate exclusively the interior of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, but considered since then a classic of danish modernism, and produced by Louis Poulsen from 1960;s. The shade is a half sphere with E-27 4 bulbs and a diffuser, which gives a very powerful light downwards and a gently relaxing light to the ceiling through the ring-shaped openings.
The lamp is in very good original condition.Just some minor corrosion spots in the inner grill (not visible from the outside when hanging) and a very small bump, see photos 4 and 5 Also a very dark brown/anthracite model is available pls ask me for more information
